"Paramos Portalas" general rules

  1. These rules (hereinafter – Rules) provide for the possible donation projects advertised on the donation portal https://paramosportalas.lt/(hereinafter – Portal), the ways of the Portal operator – Paramos portalas UAB (company code: 305912770, registered office address: Kovo 11-osios g. 130-10, Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania, office address: Jonavos g. 204A, Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania) (hereinafter – Institution) and the rights and obligations of donors.
  2. The following terms are used in the Rules:
    2.1. Person – a natural person or legal entity over the age of 14.
    2.2. Donating person or Donor – a natural or legal person who donates money to a Project advertised on the Portal through one of the methods specified on the Portal.
    2.3. Project Donor – a natural or legal person who has donated money to a Project advertised on the Portal in their own name.
    2.4. Donor List – a list of donors who have donated money to a Project advertised on the Portal, which includes the names and surnames or names of legal persons of donors who have agreed to be included in this list.
    2.5. Category – a group of Projects advertised on the Portal with a similar social goal or beneficiary, to which, as a Regular Donor, it is possible to donate for a selected period.
    2.6. Beneficiary – a non-governmental organization (public institution, association, charity and support fund, public organization) implementing a Project advertised on the Portal, as well as an educational and training institution, museum, traditional religious community, or library, natural persons entitled to receive support and other persons entitled to receive support or in need of it, selected in accordance with the Portal Project selection rules.
    2.7. Regular Donor – a natural person who has chosen to allocate a selected amount of support to the Project Category advertised on the Portal every month, which is automatically deducted from the Donor’s payment card (periodic donation).
    2.8. Project – a specific project with a social goal and beneficiary, as well as planned measures and budget to achieve the stated goal, for which it is possible to donate on the Portal for a designated period.
  3. Donated money cannot be refunded, except in the case specified in paragraph 17 of the Rules.
  4. When filling out the donation form, a person can choose the following donation methods:
    4.1. Donate in their own name and be included in the Donor List.
    4.2. Donate anonymously.
    4.3. Donate in the name of another person.
  5. If a person donates in their own name, they must indicate their full name or the name of their legal entity in the donation form.
  6. If a person wishes to be included in the Donor List, they must tick the box “I agree to be visible in the list of Project donors” in the donation form.
  7. If a person donates in the name of another person, they must indicate the name and surname or name, and email address of the person on whose behalf they are donating in the donation form.
  8. The Donor’s name and surname or name of the legal person specified in the donation form will be included in the publicly available Donor List if the Donor agrees to it. If the Donor has not ticked the box “I agree to be visible in the list of Project donors” and is donating on behalf of another (natural) person, the Donor will not be included in the Donor List.
  9. The Portal administration has the right to correct grammatically incorrect names and surnames of donors or names of legal persons before publishing them on the list of donors.
  10. When choosing to become a Periodic Donor, periodic donations are carried out and payments are made through the Portal’s partner – Paysera.lt, whose rules can be found here. When becoming a Periodic Donor, a person can only donate in their own name. The person’s name is not visible on the list of donors. For more information on how Periodic Donations work and how your periodic donation funds are distributed, if you have any questions, please contact the Portal administration.
  11. A thank-you letter and reports on the Project to which the donation was made will be sent to the email address specified in the donation form. You can opt out of receiving reports on Projects you donated to by clicking on the link provided at the end of the report and selecting “Yes”.
  12. A summary of reports and news about Projects in the selected Category will be sent to the email address specified in the Periodic Donation form. You can opt out of receiving reports and news by clicking on the link provided in the email and selecting “Yes”.
  13. If you want to receive news about Projects or the Portal, you can select the option “Agree to receive donation news” in the donation form. Even if you do not select this option, we may send you news in cases specified in the Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe from receiving news at any time by clicking on the link provided in the email and selecting “Yes”.
  14. The Portal administration is not responsible for undelivered thank-you letters and reports on Projects to which donations were made, if an incorrect donor email address was specified in the donation form.
  15. The donor assumes all responsibility related to the accuracy of the personal data of the donor or the person on whose behalf the donation is made, as well as the transparency of the donated funds.
  16. Upon receiving confirmation from the bank of the money transfer, the donated amount is immediately added to the total amount of funds collected.
  17. In the event that a person makes a mistake by entering the desired amount of money to donate and seeks to retrieve a part of it, they must contact the Portal administration within one business day of the transaction being performed, clearly explaining the situation and submitting a request for the return of a portion of the donated money. The Portal administration, after evaluating the information provided, makes an individual decision in each case.
  18. In the event that the Donor mistakenly selects a Project, they must contact the Portal administration within one business day of the transaction being performed to change the allocation of the donated funds.
  19. In the event that the Project, due to technical reasons (multiple different transactions taking place simultaneously), raises more money than specified in the Project description, the excess funds will go to the Project beneficiary.
    19.1 If the Project beneficiary refuses to carry out the Project, the excess funds will go to the Project beneficiary.
  20. If a Periodic donor wishes to cancel their periodic donation, they can do so by:
    20.1 Clicking on the “Manage Payments” button in the Paysera.lt transaction receipt sent by email each month, opening the “Subscriptions” tab, and clicking the “Cancel subscription” button,
    or
    20.2 Contacting the Portal administration via email at info@paramosportalas.ltand providing their name, surname, and email address.
  21. The Institution is not responsible for the proper declaration and payment of taxes by the Support or Project beneficiary, but more useful information can be found by clicking here.
  22. The Portal administration reserves the right to update or change the Rules at any time. Such updated or changed Rules shall take effect from the date they are published on the Portal. You should periodically review them and make sure that you are satisfied with the current version of the Rules. We will inform you of any, in our opinion, significant changes by publishing them on the Portal. You can check the “Update date” to find out when the Rules were last updated.
