What does this Privacy Policy mean?

This Privacy Policy is for you, the donation portal https://paramosportalas.lt/ (hereinafter - the Portal), we provide information about how the Paramos Portalas UAB (legal entity code: 305912770, registered office address: Kovo 11-osios g. 130-10, Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania, registered office address: Jonavos 204A, Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania) (hereinafter - the Institution) handles your personal data, which you provide when you visit the Portal, when you contact us by e-mail or phone or when you visit the Institution's office.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the terms used herein are defined by the Portal In the Rules.

What personal data do we collect about you?

We may collect your personal data when you visit the Portal, contact us by email or telephone, or when you visit the Institution's registered office:

  • For the purpose of the donation - donor's name, email address, phone number, donation. This data is processed for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, i.e. to ensure that your donation is allocated to the Project of your choice, or on the basis of your consent. This data is stored for 2 years after the date of donation.
  • If you choose to become a Recurring Donor, the purpose of your recurring donation is to provide your name, email address and the amount of your recurring donation. In this case, we obtain the data from En, we process them in order to perform the contract to which you are a party, i.e. to ensure that your recurring donation amounts are allocated to Projects in the Category of your choice. This data is retained for as long as the Recurring Donation is valid and for 2 years after the date of the last donation.
  • For the purpose of publishing the list of donors on the Portal, the name of the donor, the name of the Project. This data is processed on the basis of your consent and stored for as long as the relevant Project is active, but no longer than 2 years from the date of your donation to the relevant Project.
  • Donation purpose - the name and email address of the person on whose behalf the donation is being made, the donation made in the name of another person. These data are processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, i.e. to ensure that the donation is allocated to the selected Project. This data is kept for 2 years after the date of donation.
  • For the purpose of presenting projects on the Portal and their reports on the Portal and to Project Donors, the data that may be provided by the Organisation carrying out the Project: names, surnames, images, email address, telephone number of the persons participating in the Project. This data is processed on the basis of your consent to the publication of this information on the Portal and is stored for 5 years after the date of completion of the Project.
  • For the purpose of providing news about the Projects or the Portal (direct marketing), for the purpose of sending you news about the Projects or the Portal, the donor's email address. Such emails are sent on the basis of legitimate interest and/or your consent. This data is stored for 2 years after the donation date.
  • Unless you have expressly consented to receive news about the Projects or the Institution and have not objected, we will process your email address for the purpose set out here for the purpose of contacting you and notifying you of news on the basis of a legitimate business need.
  • You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link at the end of the email and ticking "Yes".
  • For the purpose of project selection, administration and execution, the names, email addresses and telephone numbers of the staff of the Organisation submitting the project for selection. These data are processed on the basis of legitimate interest. This data shall be kept for 6 months after the end of the selection of Projects, if the proposed Project has not been selected, or for 10 years after the date of completion of the Project, if the Project has been carried out.
  • For the purposes of the operation and improvement of the Portal (use of cookies) - IP addresses of visitors to the Portal, traffic data. These data are processed on the basis of the data subject's consent. For more information on the use of cookies, please refer to the section of this Privacy Policy entitled "Which cookies are used on this Portal? "
  • personal data of employees of suppliers, service providers or partners (legal persons) and suppliers, service providers or partners (natural persons) - for the purpose of performance of the contract concluded between the Institution and the said persons. In this case, the Agency will process the following data: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, content of correspondence, date, other data related to the performance of the contract. Where the data of employees of the service provider or supplier of the Institution are processed, the basis for the processing is the legitimate interest in the performance of the contract. If you enter into a contract with the Agency as a natural person, the Agency will process your data on the basis of performance of the contract. The personal data referred to in this paragraph shall be processed for as long as the contract continues. If the personal data are specified in contracts, the data shall be kept for 10 (ten) years from the date of termination of the contract.
  • Any other personal data that you may provide to us at any time in your communications with us, whether by email, letter, telephone call or visit to our registered office. This data is processed with the consent of the data subject and is stored for 2 years.
How do we receive your personal data?

We may receive your personal data:

  • from you when you make a donation on your own behalf or on behalf of another person, in your communications with us;
  • from the person who donates on your behalf;
  • From Enwhen you choose to become a Recurring Donor;
  • from the Organisation carrying out the Project or submitting the Project for selection, if you are an employee of that Organisation or are involved in the Project in one way or another;
  • from web servers (cookies).

A person donating on behalf of another person, an Organisation submitting a Project for selection or carrying out a Project, or any other person providing us with another's personal data in any way, shall be responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of such data and shall be obliged to inform the persons whose personal data they provide to us of the transfer of their personal data to us, including the purposes of the transfer, in accordance with the procedures set out by law.

When do we process personal data of minors?

The services provided by the portal are only for people over 14 years of age who are entitled to manage their own income and assets. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that we are processing the data of individuals who are younger than the age stated here, we will remove the data of these individuals from our databases.

How is your personal data processed?

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal requirements. Your personal data will be processed responsibly and securely. The institution, both when establishing measures for the processing of personal data and during the processing of the data itself, shall implement appropriate technical and organisational data protection measures, as provided for by law, to protect the personal data processed against accidental or unlawful destruction, damage, alteration, loss, disclosure, as well as against any other unauthorised processing. The appropriate measures shall be determined taking into account the risks arising from the processing of personal data.

Who can we disclose your personal data to?

We may disclose your personal data to personal data processors who provide us with services (perform work), i.e. information technology service providers, payment service providers, accounting service providers, auditors, lawyers, consultants, and process your data on behalf of the Institution as data controller.

Processors have the right to process personal data only on our instructions and only to the extent and to the extent necessary. When we use data processors, we take all necessary measures to ensure that our data processors have also implemented appropriate organisational and technical measures to ensure the security of personal data and to maintain the confidentiality of personal data.

When you donate through the donation form on the Portal, if you tick "I agree to be visible in the list of donors of the Project", your name will be published in the list of donors of the respective Project on the Portal.

If the organisation you work for participates in the Project Selection, we may pass your personal data to the members of the Project Selection Committee of the Company that is conducting the Project Selection.

Your data may be communicated to public bodies and institutions and to other persons exercising functions assigned to them by law.

What are your rights?

You have the right to:

  • submit a written request to us to provide you with information as to whether data relating to you are being processed and, if such data are being processed, you have the right to have access to your personal data and to the following information: the purposes of the processing; the categories of personal data concerned; the recipients of the data or the categories of recipients of the data to whom your personal data have been or will be disclosed; and, where feasible, the period of time during which the data are intended to be retained or, where not feasible, the criteria used for determining that period;
  • request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning you;
  • require us to delete your personal data. Nevertheless, this right is not absolute and may be justified where any of the following applies: the personal data is no longer necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; you have decided to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data where your personal data is processed solely on the basis of your consent and there is no other basis for processing your personal data; your personal data has been processed unlawfully; or your personal data is to be erased when we are obliged to do so;
  • request the restriction of the processing of your personal data where one of the following applies: you contest the accuracy of the data for a period of time within which we can verify the accuracy of your personal data; the processing of your personal data is unlawful and you do not consent to the erasure of your data and instead request that we restrict the use of your personal data; or we no longer need your data for the purposes of the processing, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. Where the processing of your personal data is restricted, we may only process such personal data, other than for storage, with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and/or to protect your rights or the rights of another person or for reasons of public interest;
  • withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data where the personal data is processed solely on the basis of your consent;
  • request that we transfer the personal data we process about you to another controller, where this is technically feasible;
  • lodge a complaint with us or the State Data Protection Inspectorate if you believe that your rights as a personal data subject have been and/or may be violated.
How can you exercise your rights?

To exercise your rights, please submit requests, complaints or claims to us in writing:

  • by post to Jonavos g. 204A, Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania;
  • upon arrival at the Institution, address Jonavos g. 204A, Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania.

We will respond to any requests, complaints or demands we receive in writing in accordance with the procedures and deadlines established by law and will endeavour to provide you with the information as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from the receipt of your request. This period may be extended by a further two months if necessary, depending on the complexity and number of requests. The institution will inform you of such an extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for the delay.

If, following a request, complaint or demand, we have any suspicions as to the identity of the applicant, we shall be entitled to ask for the applicant's identity document and/or to confirm the identity of the applicant in accordance with the procedures laid down by law and/or by means of electronic communications which allow for the proper identification of a person.

If we fail to provide you with the necessary information and/or you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, you have the right to contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate by filing a complaint.

How will we inform you about changes to the Privacy Policy?

We may update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such updated or amended Privacy Policy will be effective as of the date of its posting on the Portal. You should check it from time to time to ensure that you are happy with the current version of the Privacy Policy.

When we update our Privacy Policy, we will inform you of what we consider to be material changes by posting them on the Portal. You can look at the "Date Updated" date at the bottom to see when the Privacy Policy was last updated.
