No one will ever understand what it means to have an old dog if they have never had one themselves.
They will never understand how a dog can understand and know so much. How it can MEAN so much. He will never understand what a real race against time is, a race you have long since lost, but would lose at least a thousand more times.

We at Five Legs are, first and foremost, a group of like-minded people. And it just so happens that in recent years our own dogs have become obsolete. They have gotten old, they have gotten cancer, their legs have given up, their eyes have weakened. And you are nursing, washing the bed every day because your dog did not have time to go outside again at night, waiting for the droplets to drip and hoping that this drop of sand in the hourglass will not be the last. Just not the last day. When you have seen it a thousand times before, when you realise that there is no light in this tunnel. But here is your dog. And you would go through fire and water to "buy" at least another year of life for your old dog. Even a month. Because only you know how unique and unique your (already) old dog is. And that you can't imagine your life without him, because for the last year everything in your life has been with him. Or because of him. And maybe that's why you sometimes catch yourself thinking that maybe you're being selfish in trying to change something that can't be changed....

– Aktyvios mūsų globotinių sterilizacijos ir kastracijos programos vykdymas siekiant užkirsti kelią nereikalingam gyvūnų dauginimui.

– Aktyvus bendravimas ir bendradarbiavimas su visuomene reaguojant į jų pagalbos prašymus.

– Įvairių akcijų ir projektų organizavimas, kurių paskirtis yra šviesti visuomenę apie esamą beglobių gyvūnų padėtį, skatinti atsakomybę, nelikti abejingiems skriaudžiamiems gyvūnams.

– Gyvūnų perėmimas pagal galimybes iš organizacijų, kuriose jie iki eutanazijos laikomi 14d.
