Helping Einor

Complications during childbirth - Einor was without oxygen for a long time and was resuscitated. Brain freezing was applied. Since then, a long and challenging road has begun.

Today my son is 4 years old. He has moderate hearing impairmentdoes not speak, has difficulty understanding the language and is stunted in all areas of development. Diagnosis - complex developmental disorder (F83). Eating disorders - not chewing food. Difficulty with coordination means he walks but cannot run or jump.

We have regular therapy sessions: speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, physiotherapy, oral massages, we participate in neurosensory stimulation Courses. Rehabilitation in Poland and Slovakia has led to small but important achievements - Einor has started to walk, become more active and aware.

Currently our biggest goal - go to the Paley Institute in Poland. During the consultation, orthopaedic surgeons found that Einar's feet were pointing inwards. Although no surgery is needed yet, correction is necessary: plastering, splints and intensive physiotherapy. It is - 3-week course. Despite our best efforts and our personal resources, we can no longer achieve this alone.
